To promote maximum safety to life, health, and property, at minimum building cost, through education and training of Code Officials of Louisiana’s local government. To create a better public understanding and appreciation of the importance of proper administration and enforcement of building regulations to the safety, welfare, and prosperity of the local governments of Louisiana. To improve the prestige of building officials who enforce building regulations, through education and training that promote higher standards of efficiency in the administration and enforcement of building laws.
