Course Description:

2021 IPC, IMC, and IFGC Significant Changes. 

This seminar reviews and analyzes selected significant changes from the 2018 IPC, IMC, IFGC to the 2021 IPC, IMC, IFGC. Discussions will assist code users in identifying the specific code changes that have occurred, and more importantly, understanding the reason behind the change. Finally, it explains those code changes selected due to their frequency of application, special significance or change in application.

1. Identify the most significant differences between the 2018 IPC, IMC, IFGC and the 2021 IPC, IMC, IFGC.  
2. Explain the differences between the current and previous edition.
3. Identify key changes in organization and code requirements.
4. Identify the applicability of design, plan review and inspection requirements.  

Members discount cost for course attendance will apply only to individual BOAL members.  All other participants are required to pay the course fee rate for non-members, EXCEPT where a jurisdiction is providing substantial assistance in putting on a course AND there is prior written agreement to consequent special terms for the attendance of its employees.  *With the exception of a BOAL cancelled event, refunds will only be issued if the attendee provides written notice no less than two weeks prior to the event.  No refund or credit will be provided for registrant no-shows.
